The project to create the Blinky. Clyde. Inky. Pinky. dustbins started in mid-January 2014 in Mumbai and was completed by the end of December 2014. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to understand how people interact with and perceive dustbins. The aim was to create a design that not only provided an efficient and effective method of waste disposal but also changed the image of a dustbin from something that is hidden to something that can be proudly displayed as a home decor and furnishing product.

The Blinky. Clyde. Inky. Pinky. dustbins have received recognition for their innovative design. They were awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2016 in the Furniture Design category. This award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Blinky. Clyde. Inky.
